Giacomo Ronchi
Graduated in PHYSIOTHERAPY at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2012 with the thesis project "Psychometric quality of clinical tests used in the diagnosis of knee problems".
Wishing to deepen the manual approach, he immediately began the school of OSTEOPATHY, at Soma - Istituto Osteopatia Milano, which concluded in 2018 with the thesis "Effect of osteopathic manipulative treatment on the modulation of the vestibular-ocular reflex".
During these years of work, alongside clinical practice, further training courses in the musculoskeletal field, such as the "Treatment of shoulder pathologies through innovative physical therapies" course in 2015, the "Advanced Course of Ultrasound Guided Physiotherapy ™" (with consequent purchase of a Portable A6 Sonoscape Ultrasound System) in 2016 and the "Post-graduate Course of Osteopathy in the Dental Field" in 2019, deepening the issues and the use of the tools that are most useful for patients.
Since 2012 he has started various collaborations with physiotherapy centers in the Monza-Brianza and Milan area, also offering a home service in these areas. In 2013 he worked at the “Ein Karem” Integrated Day Center for the elderly, performing both individual and group rehabilitation.
In August 2013 and 2014 he lived a volunteer experience abroad as a physiotherapist, at the “Casa Divina Providencia Don Luigi Giussani”, in Asuncion, Paraguay, where he assists patients suffering from neurological, infectious and terminal patients.
From 2016 he began to collaborate with the Osteopath Roberta Bocchetti and in 2019 he joined the Studio Hope project, as a physiotherapist and osteopath where he deals with the total or partial recovery of motor skills and to create personalized and safe rehabilitation programs. In all those cases where recovery is not achievable, he always works with the aim of creating synergy with the patient in order to maintain residual abilities and to slow down the regression in progressive diseases.
