Federica Battaglia

In 2006 she obtained a second level degree in Development and Communication Psychology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. While attending the internship in the expert field, she decides to deepen the psychodiagnostic tools, obtaining in 2008 a master in Theories and tools for the assessment of psychological functioning (at ARP) which allows her to carry out psychodiagnostic evaluations of minors and adults in the expert field.

 

This path will continue over the years with the carrying out of Technical Counseling for both the Juvenile Court of Milan and the Ordinary Court, leading it to deal with family conflicts, mistreatment and abuse in developmental age.

His interest in developmental psychology led in 2011 to the achievement of the title of psychotherapist at the School of Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in Milan (PSIBA). Immediately he began working in the field of child protection in Monza Brianza, an activity that still supports the clinical one, in which he carries out psychological consultation, support and psychotherapy courses.

She worked for years at the Il Geco non-profit social cooperative, of which she was a founding member from 2011 to 2019, promoting the mental well-being of children, adolescents and their families through assessment and taking care of, also using the Sand Play Therapy analytical tool.

After years of collaboration as a consultant for the Development and Integration cooperative, in 2019 she became a partner, continuing her role as a psychologist in the field of child protection and psychotherapist at the Integrated Multidisciplinary Center for the Chora Family in Vimercate.

​

In 2019 he obtained the qualification for first and second level EMDR (Eye Movement Desensibilization and Reprocessing) treatment, a psychotherapeutic method aimed at processing traumatic events or more common but emotionally stressful experiences.
